King Kai is the ideal mentor of Goku whom taught the Saiyan the Spirit Bomb, and the Kaioken attack (off screen in the parody series). He lives on a small planet with his pet monkey,Bubbles, a cricket named Gregory, and supposedly; Bojack. King Kai plays a moderate role in the TFS series. Alike to the original, he is often shown to have a love for jokes, yet his sense of humour is very child-like. King Kai also mentors Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha later on in the series.
