King Vegeta is Vegeta's father and King of the Saiyans before his death at the hands of Frieza. He appears in Episode 25 in a flashback of Frieza. He blasts away Rutabega before getting some (rather bad) advice from Nappa. He then goes to talk to Frieza but is killed
